About OnOff Studio
OnOff Studio is a Yerevan-based animation studio creating bold, artist-driven stories for film, series, and immersive media.
Founded in 2018, the studio grew from a small creative team into one of the active voices of Armenia’s animation scene. Our work combines strong visual storytelling, cultural memory, and new production technologies, from traditional animation pipelines to virtual reality tools used for cinematic development.
We develop original projects, produce animated shorts and series, and collaborate on international co-productions with partners across Europe and beyond. Our slate includes the feature animated film Zako, the eco-fantasy children’s series Sevanik, and the award-winning animated documentary Aurora’s Sunrise, alongside a growing number of short films and experimental projects.
At OnOff, we see animation as a space where drawing, cinema, technology, and personal stories meet. We are interested in projects with a strong artistic voice stories that are rooted in local culture but can speak to audiences everywhere.
Beyond production, OnOff is also committed to strengthening the animation ecosystem in Armenia. Through collaborations, training, co-productions, and international partnerships, we aim to create more opportunities for Armenian artists and help bring Armenian animation to the global stage.

Tigran Arakelyan
Co-founder / Director / Art Director
Tigran Arakelyan is an animation director, art director, and co-founder of OnOff Studio. With more than a decade of experience in animation and cinema, he leads the studio’s visual direction and explores new creative workflows, including VR-based animation development for his debut feature film Zako.
Susanna Khachatryan
Co-founder / Executive Producer
Susanna Khachatryan is the co-founder and executive producer of OnOff Studio. She leads the studio’s production strategy, international partnerships, and co-productions, including the feature animated film Zako and several short and series projects.
